Primary Partnerships are designated as such by the Senior Internationalization Officer and can involve one, two, or all three categories of partnership activity. They are designated as “primary” because they advance KU’s mission and significantly support one or more priority areas of Research and Discovery, Healthy and Vibrant Communities, and Student Success. These partnerships have a long-term time horizon and connect or serve KU’s research themes, economic development and business innovation efforts, and leverage institutional strengths such as area studies or education abroad.
